hi, today I finally took some pictures from my new shelf with my classic town sets. Another room has been infested with my collection...

the shelf was really cheap and the mounting easy. It measures only 18cm which is perfect for a lot of small sets.

480px-pics for the forum linked to 1024px-pics for brickshelf.

complete shelf:

race and "people-with-a-normal-life" shelf:

construction and preserval shelf:

rescue and police shelf:

p1090641-480.jpg p1090642-480.jpg

yeah, I finally got them!

p1090646-480.jpg p1090647-480.jpg

moving all these sets from their original dust-receiving-place made more space for my classic space stuff:

now, no more sets have to stand on the floor:

(except for my black seas barracuda which until now always has been hit by the door or careless people... )

thanks for watching!

Impressive.................

I just miss one thing............Where's the city itself? You've enough sets to make one big beautifull city.

I even bought some roadplates... but I totally lack space... and I don't want to infest another room. :classic:

hmmm... I won't tell you where I live.

but honestly. It would attract attention if a stranger would stand behind this window. Nobody wants to get lost where I'm living...

(sadly I'm not really joking.)

*Pulls you immediately*

I am going to drag you into the Reviewers' Academy to do some serious Classic Town reviews for Classic Town. You have many outstanding, wonderful, terrific classic town sets in excellent condition. I have seen some of my fave sets in there as well. Bernd, do me favour. If you have time, please review any of these. I will love to see them!

Your collection is amazing! I am sure the rest of them will want you to do reviews as well. :sweet:

Geez, I am going crazy after looking at your collection!

How do you deal with dusting them?? It's the only thing that puts me off permanently displaying my sets on shelves...

Great collection though. See plenty of my favourites and a lot from my collection up there! Nice one!

I think I will/can enter in October. And maybe I will start with my childhood sets. personal reviews...

this room is for making/recording music and everytime I have to record MIDI-data or export something (which can take some time) I look though the shelfs and pick a few models swosh them around and brush them.

You already gave us a little insight with your great comparsions... :skull:

You have let the cat out of the bag. I am watching you as well. I know you have a secret stash somewhere. On a serious note, I am inviting you to share some Classic Town reviews or letting us have a sneak peek of your collection.

I will be looking out for your reviews in October then. Your collection really amazed me. I envy that you have a soundproof room which can minimise dust as well. Outstanding display!:thumbup::thumbup:

Your collection is massive. :oh: I've never seen so many of the small sets. Do you keep track of how many sets you have in total?

Wow! That's a great collection of Classic Town sets. Thanks for sharing these images with us Bernd. The shelf idea is a very good one to display all these great classics. I look forward to seeing some of your set reviews. Excellent!

This is a really cool collection! I had some of these when I was a kid, but wow this is a massive collection. If I had something like that, my wife would have me living in the shed with all those LEGO!!
