I've just arrived back from a summer working abroad, and am still finding the rain pleasantly refreshing, so before I get stuck back in completely let's resume talk about an Irish Lego Group...

A little later than planned, we have a temporary forum (thanks to Ronald!) And can begin planning some kind of meet up. Please drop by and introduce yourself/suggest a convenient city. I'm still dreaming of some Irish lego based craic...

Hey all,

I'm pleased to announce that the first meeting of Irish AFOLs was a complete success. We've decided on finalists for a name, begun work on a permanent web home and were even able to watch Liverpool topple United (for better or worse ; ).

For most of us it was the first time meeting other AFOLs, and along with some general relief we were able to show off some planned and finished models, as well as discuss bargain hunting and our faviourite lego based haunts.

We look forward to more to come!
