Too futuristic.

Who thinks that bionicle was getting to futuristic, it just didn't feel bionicle to me ,

At least this year its less futuristic.

Sets like 8623 Krekka, 8755 Keetongu, 8596 Takanuva with his bike, the Toa Inikas and the Toa Mahri with their big shooters and

some play sets like 8926 Toa Undersea Attack and this year´s vehicle sets like 8943 Axalara T9 deliver quite a lot of futuristic aspects.

Next year´s sets, from what I can say with these preliminary pictures, look pretty barbaric.

It´s for sure not easy to find a good balance between modern and archaic elements satisfiable to all people´s likings, and as long TLC

takes care to vary the focus on this from time to time and especially avoids too annoying and enormous shooting devices I´m fine with that.

Don't like it, MOC it away, forthat is the beauty of lego. And anyway, having bionicle is better than the situation for exo force fans now, since until another giant mech theme comes along, they are stuck with MOCing and army building.
