LegoLover Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 Personally I think they look terrible. They could made them regular minifigs but then they might look like KK knights Quote
Starwars4J Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 One of the worst ideas they've ever had. It's just so...not lego-like. Quote
legofreak Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 hey - the figs suck but the weapons are oh so customizable. Cant wait to get my hands on some to slice and dice and superglue. |-D Quote
Dark_Avenger Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 Speaking as a System fan, I think they suck. Speaking as a Bionicle fan, I think they suck. I mean, the indentations are detailed at least, but the whole one-color non-jointed thing is just unbelievably disappointing. I certainly didn't want the Toa to be like the standard minifig, but I didn't want em to be this bad either. Quote
LegoLover Posted August 13, 2005 Author Posted August 13, 2005 I think it would be better if they were more then one color and you could move their arms and legs and maybe even their heads. Quote
ImperialJohn Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 Well. For my six year old boy THEY ROCK. But I think he is a little special. He has been collecting Bionicle since he was four. :oD Might be my "bad" influence :$ Quote
Dino_Bot Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 They're awful. *there isn't a barfing smiley!* Im not buying those...no matter what...I've seen the sets and I haven't even stopped a minute to look at them. Quote
keetongu Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 I was disapointed but you can make monuments of the toa hordika and have the minifigs as the statues on the monuments.Ever think of that? There isn't a barfing smiley Dino_Bot, but there is a sick smiley. Here is the sick smiley *sick*. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted September 8, 2005 Governor Posted September 8, 2005 I commented about this in another thread ages ago when these sets first came out. I can't be bothered finding it. Hobbes can do it. Hobbes likes to do things like that for some reason.. Hobbes is a legend. Anyway... I have this to ask... How does juniorisation feel Bionicle fans??? :-D :-D :-D :-D Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 A question guys, who owns those Bionicle sets ??? If someone has them, could you post a pic of the twin colour rock please ;) Tks in advance ;) Quote
KMOI Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 How does juniorisation feel Bionicle fans??? :-D :-D :-D :-D That hurts so hard, I can't even breathe. Ouch. :( Anyhoo, I'm a Bionicle fan and to be honest, the past few years of Bionicle have brought about some nice parts, but the idea of creating Toa like mass-produced chicken really irked me. What happened to the days when the villians were beasts that didn't come in canisters? Also, the playsets are hurting. To my eyes, my ears and my soul. I don't know what came over the Lego people, but I am certain it had something to do about "returning to the brick." So as you can see from my little rant here, I don't own those cool two-cloured rocks. I wish I did though! Quote

I don't see how Bionicle <insert that tiresome argument> System; it's an entirely different line of sets. Quote
xwingyoda Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Thanks for the cool pics ImperialJohn ;) Will need a couple of those cool rocks :oD Will wait for them to sow up on Bricklink hehe :) Quote
languages Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Bionicle has been juniour juniourised...... In other words its still crap... Quote
Dino_Bot Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 These aren't the only craptastic things Bionicle has come out with...I saw this Vakama Hordika mask changer...it's kinda cool, but at the same time is childish. *Fwaps self*...WOHOH! I also saw these disk shooting gauntlets that also came with a Vakama Hordika mask. They were the exact same ones from Batman Begins (Yeah I love BATMAN! whee!). Just red and more Bioniclish, if you know what I mean. Quote
