[M4-25 - The Crew] Captain Starraider and his Mod-ley Crew

Captain Jak Starraider and his crew are a band of space pirates who are entirely comprised of cyborgs a.k.a. mods. Whenever they lose a body part, they simply replace it with a robotic one, making themselves stronger in the process. Also known as the Red & Gold Pirates due to the colors they wear, each member of the crew has their own task aboard their ship. Loyal to no one but their fearless captain, they roam the galaxy in search of spice, credits, and adventure! 

Captain Jak Starraider is the fearless leader of the Red & Gold Pirates and the pilot of their ship. He has replaced his left arm and right leg with those of a protocol droid and enhanced part of his head with cybernetic implants to help him chart space routes and device cunning plans for their raids. He wears a jetpack and his weapons of choice are an old blaster and a custom lightsaber. It is his dream to one day discover the fabled treasure planet of At Attin. 

Doc is the ship's medic and the one who installs all of the crew's cybernetic mods. He is a highly intelligent Duros with doctorates in both medicine and robotics, but his methods were considered too controversial which led him to become an underground modifier and eventually join Starraider's crew. He has modified one of his own hands with various instruments to help him perform surgeries. While he prefers to stick to the confines of his lab and is not much of a fighter, the crew can always count on him to support them with a stim during battle and to patch them up afterwards. 

Astro is a grumpy old Dug who serves as the crew's mechanic. He lost both of his arms in battle and had them replaced with astromech droid legs, giving him his nickname. No matter how much damage their ship takes during their raids, Astro can always get it going again! Over time, he has made about as many modifications to their ship as Doc has made to the crew and the two get along fairly well due to their shared interest in machinery.

Bertah is a big, strong Sullustan woman who serves as the ship's gunner and the crew's muscle. She lives to fight and has the mods to prove it. She always leaps into battle first and has lost over half of her body as a result. She wears heavy armor with a life support system and has replaced her lower half with Droideka legs. Bertah is the polar opposite of Doc - where Doc is calm and calculating, Bertah is loud and impulsive. This often puts the two at odds, but having saved each others lives many times, they still respect each other. Bertah can always be found carrying her heavy blaster rifle and many explosives.

What would a pirate crew be without an exotic pet? Meet Polly the Cy-porg! Polly was a porg with broken wings that the crew found during their travels. Feeling sympathy for her, Cpt. Starraider adopted her and had Doc give her droid arms and legs as well as a small jetpack so that she could fly again and even help out in a fight. The whole crew is very fond of her (Jak likes to refer to her as the ship's morale officer), although Astro tends to get annoyed when she playfully steals his tools.
