First look. Coming soon. 3. Characters: A. Reptyloides: a. Ga-Reptyloide => No text => Photos - photo 1 B. Ko-Reptyloide: => Info: Ko-Reptyloides. They are the most mysterious and quiet of all the species of the Reptyloide kind. No one ever saw them properly, but some say that they do not have spikes on their heads, unlike the other Reptyloides. Some said that Ko-Reptyloides are one of the rare creatures that are capable to use tools due to the build of their front three-part paws with sharp claws. Ko-Reptyloides also have a specialty - they are can understand language of the creatures connected to the Ice element without difficulties. These amazing creatures live on the icy Mountains, and to be more precise somewhere in the middle of those mountains, where the Ice peak and numerous icy caves are situated. There, Ko-Reptyloides feel comfortable and well-hidden from dangers. To reach the mountains you have to either travel across the narrow slopes, or through the path in the mountains well guarded by unfriendly Frost-wolves. Ko-Reptyloides are gifted sculptors. From the Eternal Ice they create statues of the unknown creatures. Many Reptyloides, who had visited them, say that the reflections and diffractions of light cause the Ever-icy sculptures to become alive. Ko-Reptyloides have no intention of selling those statues. Imagine: you come up to a quiet territory of Reptyloides, which consists out of huts that, at the same time, look like houses of Ko-Matoran and igloos. On entering through a gap between two mountain peaks, you freeze suddenly, dazed by what you see: before you a gallery of sculptures unfolds to the left are the long-gone rulers, and to the right shamans of the villages are placed. Truly, this sight be spells you, and to add to the impact the statues are covered with unusual relieves. This relieves are what causes the statues to glitter. The hierarchy in the clans is strict: there is a Chief. He lives in the main cave or in the village considered to be the capital. The main Shaman, or a Sorcerer, as the foreigner call him, obeys him, he knows the land shaft and contacts the spirits (yes, those do exist), and lives with the Chief, only in a chapel, not in the hut. Other Shamans serve him. The Shamans rule over the elements of Frost and Ice and are considered the main beings in the caves and villages. Serving the shamans are the main provision suppliers - the hunters, and also the builder, and the workmen of the most respectable job - the sculptors. You can not become a sculptor, you must born as one of them. Usually, in each village (and there is only ten of them!) there are about two or three sculptors. The sculptors carve the sculptures for someone else, of for simply as a pleasure for themselves. The sculptors also decorate the buildings. The builders live in their own communities - brigades. Brigades place their homes near the main village or the main cave, so that the Chief will find it easier to send messengers if something had to be built. The hunters live amidst the other Reptyloides in the villages or caves, and every second day they go hunting, even during the snowstorm. Sometimes some of them aren`t return. The hunters are also the main part of Ko-Reptyloides' army. There are also blacksmiths these are Reptyloides who make all the tools. In ever profession a different set of tools is used. For example, during a fight hunters use fighting scythes, and on the hunt harpoons and trap-nets with heavy balls attached to the corners; the builders use cutters and picks to cut and turn blocks used to build huts. Sculptors have hatches, cutters and files in order to build the statues and to create the cut-in patterns. The blacksmiths use hammers for making metal tools and filing the tools out of Eternal ice. The tools made out of Eternal ice grind off much quicker than metal, however the time for this process is too big even for crystal blades! The blacksmiths are not familiar with Protosteel. The biggest problems for Ko-Reptyloides are caused by Frost-wolves: giant wolves with armour made mainly of Eternal ice (this is what gives Frost-wolves their name). They have sharp claws and their diet consists of Ko-Reptyloides Edited August 25, 2008 by -N13OS- Quote
Asuka Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 That´s really some decent work you´ve put into these... I like especially the neat design of your Reptyloide of Shadows, Shadow Hordika (very cool) and the fine Reptyloide of Light. That Grown-Up Fire Praying Mantis looks also pretty interesting. Quote
