miki Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 How much will cost to order Replacement Parts from lego´s website? Quote
Stauder Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Hello, Intro topics belong in the Hello My name is... Forum. As for the replacement parts, I belive they are free of charge. But I have never had missing/damaged parts so I wouldn't know. Can somone confirm this? Quote
Skipper 24 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Yep they're free even if you have lost them (well they always are for me). If you have a damaged part that came with your set they may want to take it back so be prepared. But if you select a missing part from a set they will never ask for a part back because it's supposedly missing . Oh yeah welcome to EB. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Okay, I have a sudden urge to clarify something. When you order a replacement part marked as missing in the set or even lost they ask for proof of purchase. My only qualm with that: I don't keep either boxes or bills for lego, so what happens? I lose out. Anyway, if you have the proof, then, yes, it's free. Quote
Skipper 24 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 They have never asked me for proof of purchase, it's probably only in some countries they need to do that. I'm in the UK and they don't do it. Quote
Cardinal Brick Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I’ve also never been asked for proof of purchase, I thought that was only for missing Star Wars figures and special pieces not standard pieces. Quote
Front Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 Don't claim that pieces were missing if you just lost them. For some pieces it is virtually impossible that they are missing in a box. And Lego knows that. If you lost it, state that and you may have to pay for replacement. If it's broken or if it was missing when box was opened, state that, and you get free replacements. Quote
