Funky Space Pyramid

Hi, everyone! I know this is old, but I still wanted to know what you guys think about it. It's a sketch from the stop-motion show "Robot Chicken" in which a selfish pharaoh is making his people build a pyramid for him - with Lego! But the slaves have other plans...

I recorded and uploaded the sketch for you guys on my YouTube account. Unfortunately, only few are able to view it due to copyright issues. You can find it here. If you can't view it, you can try visiting the Adult Swim website. Just do a search using "LEGO" and it'll pop up (along with a sketch called "Lego Babel"). Thanks to our member badger for the link.

I remember when this aired. I was laughing so hard. It looked some of the things I used to build when I was a kid... I had enough parts of the color to start with and then about 1/3 of the way through I would run out of that part and just throw anything in. Haha.

In-e-ways, your description makes this particular RC* skit sound most intriguing.

*Robot Chicken not Republic Commando.

Also, I would like to add that I'm a big Robot Chicken fan! And that there's one other RC LEGO skit (that I know of) called LEGO Babel.

The basic message of the skit is that TLG has too many licenses, it gets the point across by promoting a "What if?" LEGO theme for the movie Babel.

Strange worked fine for me in the UK. I’ve not seen that before though I’ve heard of Robot Chicken. For me it was just a well executed skit, I love the pyramid at the end and the pharaohs demise.

I saw this awhile back, and it still makes me grin considering how much they hit a few MOCing issues right on the head. Of course, it's clear they didn't have Bricklink in ancient Egypt!

No worries at all! I'm a big fan of animation in general, and a HUGE fan of Adult Swim. Robot Chicken isn't my favorite show on right now (that would the Venture Bros), but it's still one of the better ones on right now.
