Mr. Lego-builder Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 It's true folks! The new 2005 Advent Calender with City Minifigures are now available! It is strange why it is already available in August.... *wacko* iBrickshop is the only vendor who has it right now. Get them while they are hot! See the item here! Enjoy and discuss! P.S. Personally, I'm going to buy at least two to boost my City's population! *satis* EDIT: Upon futher inspection of the site, it is a good site with a lot of older sets up for sale. Some with lower prices than Bricklink. ;) Quote
The Middleman Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 I'll front page this ASAP. Only 8 figures, though! Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted August 10, 2005 Author Posted August 10, 2005 Interesting enough, that there are 203 pieces, for only 8 figures? I hope there are more figures or some vehicles... :/ Thanks for the front page, Bloody Jay! Quote

I mean, are we complaining here...? ;) Besides, most of the time, LEGO doesn't include minifigs in the piece count, so it's probably 203 pieces + 8 figures. I'm guessing we'll get, I don't know, a reindeer, a tree, a santa... the usual. Oh yeah, and that makes one more leak of ours confirmed. Take that, skeptics! :P Quote

xwingyoda Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 That can be nice if there are some useful parts in those 203 pieces such as food !!!!!!! Also this is a City set !!! Will there be another Calendar line based on other themes such as vikings ??? Probably not, but one can dream. Edit: Bildur, I corrected your typo in this thread's title ;) Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted August 10, 2005 Author Posted August 10, 2005 Thanks for the correction, Yoda. ;) I guess I was too excited at the time of the post that I overlooked the typo. :D Quote
kotua Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Anybody know which Minifigs come in the City Advent Calendar? Quote
chewie Posted August 24, 2005 Posted August 24, 2005 I would be happy to sell some to anyone if they want one, I can sell it for $28.00 CAN, plus shipping, I can also debox the set if you dont want the box Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted August 24, 2005 Author Posted August 24, 2005 Chewie, do you have the set? If so, what parts/minifigures are in it? If not, ignore this post. Personally, I'm hesitant to buy it because of the apperently poor selection of minifigures. Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted August 24, 2005 Author Posted August 24, 2005 UPDATE! I have found a site which has cheaper prices and ships internationally. Check it out here. Now all of you not in North America can also enjoy this set. *satis* Quote
sam89 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but this set is now on S@H: http://shop.lego.com/product.asp?p=7324&cn...cn=147&d=14&t=7 Quote
Thrash Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I was at a local toy store and I saw the Advent Calender there. On the top of the box was a display of all the different peices it came with. It appeared to just be a bunch of useless little pieces. The only peices that I can remember is that it came with two dogs. ~Thrash Quote
DoubleT Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Thanks for the notice Sam :) You are so sharp ;) Quote
jonfett Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Thrash said: The only peices that I can remember is that it came with two dogs. No, not dogs.. these are "reindeers" ;) Jon. Quote
Thrash Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Lol, what a bad reindeer. They could have at least given it horns to make it somewhat believable. As far as I can tell, these so called "reindeer" are exactly the same piece that was used in the Shreiking Shack set for Sirius Black in his dog form. LEGO was probably just confused and thought that dogs drive santa's sleigh. I mean, flying dogs are just as believable as flying reindeer. ~Thrash Quote
The Middleman Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Or it could be a dog sled with Santa on it to make it more Christmas-y. Quote
Thrash Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Hmmmm...I hope that's what they were going for. ~Thrash Quote
Mr. Lego-builder Posted September 4, 2005 Author Posted September 4, 2005 UPDATE/EDIT: Would a moderator or admin please edit out the "Now Available Exclusively at iBrickshop" subtitle? Because obviously, it's not only available there any more. As a matter of fact, it's available at most Lego shops (at least in my area.) Quote
christopher110 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Once again, Bricksworld got the special offer. 7324 is only sold at ~USD10. I'm glad that I live near to Singapore. Quote
