MAP Tec Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Β WhatΒ΄s up Lego Star Wars fans, Here I present my biggest and best MOC of all time, a completely motorized Venator!!!! I have realized all functions from the Star Wars movies and series, even the openable main hangar with flying out gunships!Β I have always wondered why there is no one who realizes all the functions of this spaceship, since it offers enough space for engines and technical functions... Here, too, I βunfortunatelyβ had to resort to two battery boxes from MouldKing, for the same reasons as with my Tumbler. I installed another Chinese battery box for the lighting. This won't go down well with Lego fans, of course, but with the exception of the battery boxes and the LEDs, ALL the parts and motores are made of 100% Lego. The building instructions are not yet available, but I'm working on it! I hope you like and support my work ;D. Criticism is always welcome! With kind regards MAP Tec Β Instagram: maptec.baut YouTube:Β https://www.youtube.com/@MAPTecbaut/videos Β Functions: 1.Movable front guns 2. Movable main guns 3.Openable side hangar 4.Openable lower hangar 5.Gunship flies out of the lower hangar 6.Openable main hangar 7.Β Gunships fly out of the main hangar 8.Tilting the Venator to both sides 9.Full lighting Β Quote
Ellisss_2 Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Looks great all round the functionality is amazing and unique, I particularly like that ships fly out of it!Β I am definitely interested in seeing the internals of the ship.Β My only criticism is the decision to go completely SNOT on the wings and tile over the 2x4 wedge plates. I think it takes away from the wedge shape, hopefully Lego makes a 2x4 wedge tile one day, like I have seen on some knock-off Lego builds. Quote
codyaner Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Most impressive RC LEGO project I have ever seen. I am speechless. You`re a wizard! Quote
TeddytheSpoon Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Wow, this is rad! The gunship mechanisms are especially fun. Although I must admit that watching it tilt was quite unnerving! I'd be fascinated to see how the internal mechanisms look. Quote

Thank you for this comment and that you like it.Β I thought long and hard about whether I should tile everything and I'm not 100% happy with it. I can only say this much: the interior and the technical functions were the easiest part for me, but the cladding was the biggest challenge hahahahaha.Β A little fun fact. I covered everything with tiles to make it easier to remove dustΒ 9 hours ago, codyaner said: Most impressive RC LEGO project I have ever seen. I am speechless. You`re a wizard! That's why I built the two support legs very solid and wide, so that the thing doesn't tip over too much in the end hahaha Edited June 13, 2025 by MAP Tec Quote

TeddytheSpoon Posted October 31, 2025 Posted October 31, 2025 (edited) Oh I love that the remote has little icons showing what each of the levers actuate! That's a fun touch. Edited October 31, 2025 by TeddytheSpoon Quote
