Hobbes Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 Ok, so they're back safe. But what was so difficult repairing the tiles? There's even instructions out there how to do it... Or in other words: Coinciding with the safe return of the real thing I received my replica today :-D Yes, that was a disguised "Guess what I got in the mail today"-thread. Since it's not that a classic set I had to attract attention somehow - GOTCHA *twisted* Quote
xwingyoda Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Looooool, good one Hobbes :D Good that your package was not rerouted at the last moment to finish in France due to bad weather :D Quote
Hobbes Posted August 11, 2005 Author Posted August 11, 2005 Good that your package was not rerouted at the last moment to finish in France due to bad weather :D You're right, I haven't thought about it that way :() That shows the superior quality of LEGO over standard NASA equipment... *satis* Quote
SuvieD Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Very funny Hobbes. Do you enjoy that model. I thought it was fun to build. I loved all the moving parts. I wish I had one as a child. I would have had my pirates exploring the moon with one of those. Good joke, I must admit I feel for it until I looked at the instructions. :$ Quote
Hobbes Posted August 11, 2005 Author Posted August 11, 2005 Very funny Hobbes. Thx :) Do you enjoy that model. I thought it was fun to build. I haven't finished it yet but so far it looks great and is fun to build. I loved all the moving parts. Those parts on one hand are great (and remind me of 4403) but on the other hand made me realize how limited my "MOCing" skills are because I could never come up with a "contraption" like those in this model :'( Good joke, I must admit I feel for it until I looked at the instructions. :$ Then it worked exactly as I wanted it to ;) Quote
