AL-Modelldesign Posted June 7 Posted June 7 (edited) I recently completed a new project: converting the LEGO® Technic McLaren 42141 into a remote-controlled (RC) version – fully equipped with Power Functions, without any custom parts or glue, and visually true to the original. My goal was to integrate the functions as elegantly as possible without compromising the design or gutting the interior. Oner key feature for me was making sure both doors could open independently and fully upwards – just like the real McLaren. Unfortunately, that's not always the case with some other modifications. 👉 How important is this kind of detail to you when it comes to MOCs? Do you value such features, or are they more secondary to you? If you'd like to check out the model, you can find it here on Rebrickable: 🔗 RC McLaren 42141 Conversion – MOC-196363 If you have any questions about the model or the technology behind it, I'm happy to answer – or feel free to contact me through my website: 🔗 https://al-modelldesign.de I'm looking forward to your feedback and exchanging ideas!
