SirNadroj Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 My entry for RC's Scientist Contest (Good Category): "Dr. Able Tosplice is an infamous medical doctor and scientist. Her experiments have garnered her fame, but many find her experiments to be cruel and unethical. She is currently working on gene-splicing, to create a hybrid creature (part man, part canine) that can be used for good. How, you may ask? That's confidential." Horay for Deoxyribonucleic Acid! Your feedback is welcomed. Quote
Benk Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Diggin that microscope! good work SirNadroj I also see the new Obi-Wan hair piece -Benk Quote
the enigma that is badger Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Very nice fig, although your double helix is twisting the wrong way. Assuming it's mean to be B-DNA, the most common confirmation of the DNA molecule, it should have a right-handed twist rather than the left-handed twist (Z-DNA) you've pictured here. Then again, you could always say her studies involve methylation! Also, the "pearls on a string" gene model is extremely outdated. Ha, molecular biology humor! Seriously though, great work! badger Quote
Stash2Sixx Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 Very nice work. That microscope is fantastic! This actually looks like one of my science teachers from back in high school. Quote
