Hello!

Here is my newest MOC: the Mountain House. It has an interior with modern furniture and also a patio with chairs and lamps.

There is also a front and back garden. It took me about 1 1/2 weeks to build, but part of that time I had to wait for a bricklink order to arrive. Originally, I wanted to make it with 2 floors, but I wanted to keep it pretty simple so I just made it with one.

Thanks and enjoy! :classic:

Wow nice 9/10!(they need a fridge :-D) I just love this house with the shiny floor and the big TV. I love the mailbox too, but I wonder what they are going to do with the oilcan in the box?

I really like the couch and the big screen tv. Those are great pieces of furniture and would look great in some of my under-furnished buildings. My fledgling town is apparently filled with vacant buildings.

I alos like the use of 1x1 bricks on the columns. That simple detail helps make them pop.

Very nice MOC, Erdbeereis!

Like an official Lego product.

A clear 5/5

... and one small sidenote: boring television program!

What about this :sweet: or this

Erdbeereis1, this is a very sweet nice MOC! I thought it was an offical set as well. In fact, I love this MOC of yours very much as it reminded me of the 4996 Beach Creator house. :cry_happy:

The black and white facade just matched it each other very well. I can't seemed to find any major flaws. You had used the train station schedule to illustrate a TV set. Smart of you to do so. It seemed like displaying my flight information via the TV. The flooring looks just so sweet. I will love to have such design in my house. Opps, I mean my Beach Creator house.

Can I assume there is nothing on the second floor? Nevertheless, this is one of your best MOCs. I love it very much! Thanks for sharing. :sweet:

Thanks a lot for the nice comments guys! :cry_happy:

WhiteFang, I actually tried to model it similar to the beach house, so that's probably why it reminds you of it. And you are right unfortuneatly there is nothing on the second floor, as this is my first large house, and I wanted to keep it simple. Next time though!

And to 123: The oilcan is supposed to be a watering can, because TLG apparently thinks it's not necessary to make one. :sceptic: That's the closest thing I could find.

Thanks again everyone! The comments are much appreciated! :classic:

I think it's alright to leave your second floor vacant. It will be easy to add in some furniture as well. For your first MOC, it's very good. I will be looking forward to such houses in the future. Keep it up!

Thanks a lot!

I have a few other MOCs that aren't houses that I'll be putting up in the next week or so.

One of my next few projects will be a pizzeria in the Cafe Corner style.

Nice house!

ADVANTAGES:

+ Lovely attention to detail

+plenty of TileSNOT

+Is Eye candy

DISADVANTAGES:

- They need a fridge! where will they keep those pizzas from spoiling?!

-The tiles mean that the furniture is sort of "floating around".

Great MOC Erdbeereis  . I like the interior, it really looks detailed and with all the floor covered with tiles it just looks more elegant :classic: . Good job  .

That looks like a great house!

It all looks very smooth with those tiles and very much like your tv (the program, although a bit boring, as Holodoc pointed out is a nice find indeed!)

There actually is a watering can, a Fabuland one, I have one in my collection, they're a bit big buit still very nice.

Looks great! I like the big T.V and couch, as well as the trees. The roof is also nice, and the small backyard is pretty cool. I would love to see more of your architecture soon! :sweet:

Could you edit your first post to display the pictures again?

No problem!

I'll start working on it right away. :classic:

EDIT: All done!

This a great looking home. Detailed and well thought out. An opening skylight on of the roofslopes would be cool, but as a mountain home, may not be a good idea if you see a lot of snow!

It makes me think of the beach house also, which is good because that set is the pefect base set to build your own design. A great bargain too at 30USD you get nice windows, doors, green base plates, and a good amount of black roof pieces. It would easily cost that to buy all the pieces separately.

I may use a similiar design in my own City if you don't mind.
