Inertia Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 (edited) So, here's another of my creations, I will update the pictures tomorrow, it's getting dark here so I apologize for the horrible light. **UPDATED!** General Overview, you can see my floor! I'll have to replace that one The view from the Battlements. An over view of the battlements. More of the battlements. The gate and travellers entering and exiting the town, two guards and two Archers are ready for any trouble. The Dirt Road and the forest. Another shot of the outside. Inside of the gate, the guards line up for an inspection by a Knight and squire. You can see the floor again, that ones a goner Three guards arrest a delinquent Orc, he's going to the dungeon... View down the road... Birdseye view. A peasant with a loaf of bread... Thanks for viewing my MOC! The pictures will be updated soon, with light! C and C appreciated! I Scream Clone Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Very nice Inertia! A great scene with lots of going ons. I like the townsfolk, the arrest of the orc and that loaf of bread is cool. Maybe its the SNOT lovin in me but i think the tops of the towers need tiles to smooth the surface out, or perhaps the grounds inside the castle could be tiled. Congrats, you have done a lot with not a lot of bricks , and you have more knights than me Quote

As for the inside, I'll work on that too, this is actually the start of a Castle Village, but I don't have the peasants at the moment As for the Knights, in this part alone I used about 3/4 of my collection, guess I should buy some more... Thanks again! Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Very nicely done, Inertia! I love how you've added pirate torsos for the serfs (we must not forget them!) - and the delinquent orc thing is also funny. Good job. Quote
SWMAN Posted August 8, 2008 Posted August 8, 2008 Very nice. I really like the detail with the mini-figures actually doing stuff. Looks like a really gate into a castle or square. Quote

Thanks, the pirate torsos were used because I ran out of Jedi robes and castle peasant torsos. The dlinquent Orc thing I put in while watching Cops... Inspiration at it's finest. Very nice. Thank you, It is the start of a Village, so eventually I'll post a Castle square when I get around to starting Thanks again! Quote
Fatespuppet Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 I really like this. I'm always interested in seeing how other people build castle walls and gates. They give me so many ideas for my own work. So, is this simply a single scene or does it fit into a large collection of castle scenes that fit together to form one gigantic castle? Quote

I couldn't fit real gates in so I just went for the portucullis... Well, I'll fit in with other parts as I create them, so It's gonna end up as one huge castle town! *** Just Updated them!*** Edited August 10, 2008 by Inertia Quote
Norro Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 I like the commotion and imposing walls. This looks like the beginning of a very nice castle! Thanks for sharing! God Bless, Nathan Quote
WhiteFang Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 Inertia, your MOC skills certainly have improved a lot. I think this is the best MOCs you have ever created and it's a great start to your Castle ground expansion. I love it very much. Keep up the good work! I thought the dungeon was supposed to be the guardhouse. Quote

Thanks, Cops inspired me with the delinquent, and every town needs some commotion. I've built one house out of 8 or 9 for the next part, so look out for the thread when I've finished! Quote
