Holodoc Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 Just 4 more weeks until the 18th EB event in Billund! To shorten the time a little, we are now starting the 2025 building event. What's it all about? Build a nice soapbox racer for your sigfig. The vehicle must contain the following parts: and for the basis of your vehicle as well as your sigfig/avatar. You may replace the "chassis" with your own parts, but the wheels only come in 4 sets and all of them include the chassis part as well. If you don't have them already, these 2 sets are an easy and cheap way to get hold of them: 60458 and 60459. If you were a pirate, here is what it could look like: Bring it to the event, where your vehicle will compete against the others. Maybe it's wise to make it nice, sturdy and fast! And of course: Have fun! Quote
Calanon Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 I presume we are only allowed one racer? I've accidentally done two designs... Quote

Ecclesiastes Posted April 27, 2025 Posted April 27, 2025 Finished mine. I hope it's fast, it's everything but sturdy though Quote
Peppermint_M Posted April 27, 2025 Posted April 27, 2025 Built mine, just have to hope it runs well Quote
Holodoc Posted April 27, 2025 Author Posted April 27, 2025 Same here. Good to know you you're all prepared! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted April 27, 2025 Posted April 27, 2025 Figuring out the design language of them was the hardest part. LEGO introduced a whole new thing with these little racers! Fortunately, I love watching the Red Bull soapbox races so I had a few ideas to start off with. Quote

Only those mandatory parts... So, design language is a broad spectrum Quote
