Today, i made some narrow gauge straight track for stu.io by cutting apart some rc track in partdesigner.

narrow gauge straight

it wasnt easy, because i couldnt seperate the two sides, so i had to duplicate it first, then delete each extra track and join them back together. i have also made my narrow gauge track this way irl (though with a saw).

my "layout" is two straight tracks. so no not really. not yet. my dad has a 3d printer though so i might just print the track myself. anyways, i made some different lenght curves today, using the curves from lego and modifying them. the straights dont have the right connector on them yet, i will need to work on that too.

curves

see the flickr for the link to the file.

and i made some different lenght straight aswell (as i said i need to give them the correct connector)

i have now made the 4d brix track into stud.io aswell, you need to convert the models to .obj, import into part designer, and scale it to 250%, and reset bounding box and outlines and let it make new outlines. here is all my work so far: custom track
