Brick900 Posted March 21 Posted March 21 (edited) Here it is: the Animal Shelter. At over 2620 pieces, this build contains three stories, including a large roof. I posted this on Rebrickable back in November, but posting it here now. Here is the description: "In 2005, LEGO City opened its doors to an Animal Shelter in its modular district. Since then, they have been at work helping animals find homes. On the first story is the lobby with a bathroom, behind which is a volunteer room with a dog kennel. The yard in the back has a stairway to the second floor. Past the dog kennel on the first part of the floor, the other side of the room has some additional kennels with cats and rabbits. On the side is an office for employees. The third story (roof) has a barn for chickens. Note that some animals here aren’t necessarily up for adoption, just being rehabilitated. No minifigures are included in the inventory of this model" Instructions are for sale here: https://reb.li/m/201078 Edited March 23 by Brick900 Quote
Brick900 Posted April 1 Author Posted April 1 (edited) So, what do you think of this MOC? Edited April 1 by Brick900 Quote
hugore Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Honestly, it is a very nice building. However, it doesn't shout "animal shelter". It has no reference to animals in its facade, colors or any part of its architecture. It could be a bakery, a hospital, a animal shelter or a police station. Quote
Brick900 Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 Here are two expansions adding additional floors. Tell me what you think of them. Quote
