Spent about a week building my own version of the Cyclone mech from Sonic adventure 2. I recently bought and built the set but found it a bit lacking. I based on how it looks after you get all the upgrades. It uses a few pieces from that set but other than I built it from the ground up. It has a basic transformation feature. The crow's nest turret rotates and the nose module can be removed revealling Tails artificial emerald that appears in the game. I used luminous green since that colours not used in the emeralds from the sonic ideas set so I thought it'd make a cool unofficial 8th chaos emerald. The ball joint extenders give the legs enough space to fold neatly for the transformation

Fake chaos emerald.

Battery for the laser cannon. A 2x1 tile with ridge a yellow ingot combined with a batman utility belt just barely holds together with a bit of persuasion.

For all the lego I own which is allot there's some really basic pieces I seemed to lack. So when I built the nose module I used two of those little boat shaped pieces 2 technic bricks with twtin holes some tiles to get the desired shape. The bazooka helps disguise the exposed stud holes on top.

And finally the weapons. Later on I might consider building the weapons it has before upgrading.
