Many plants, producing equipment essential for the Imperial Starfleet, and some major shipyards were located in the Corellian system since before the beginning of the Clone Wars. Corellia remained an ally of the Old Republic and the Galactic Empire since then, however, after the Empire's defeat at Coruscant, Diktat Gallamby started playing 'independance', turning into an authocrat-wannabe. Having read ancient Sith manuscripts, Rax knew Centerpoint station's tractor beams' true purpose; he eagerly accepted to catch the intruders and find out about their intentions with the potentially dangerous equipment. Soon after returning to the Judicator, Rax and Jar Jar, on whose participation in the mission the Commissar insisted, boarded a TIE shuttle and travelled to the ancient station, having a very bad feeling about this ...
