OK, here's a dying soldier.......

I'm going to add some more stuff to it, but focus..... here's a sneak preview of my new MOC......

Any questions?

No it's not markers, crayons or paints or any fake stuff that blood is usually made of. I actually had a nose bleed and this is what happened. Luckily none of the blood got on the minifig. PS, I'm fine, don't worry about me, the blood stopped dripping and I'm still here. Although I kinda feel light headed.

Great effect. But forgive me for saying this, it's really gross.

You probably don't want anyone else touching that minifig, as all blood carries some sort of germ. You can 't rule out contamination.

I should probably decontaminate it before using it again or letting anyone use it again. I'll look up ways to decontaminate this plastic. Thanks for the feedback.

Boiling water, Dish soap, ETC...

I hope this will be the last bodily fluid you share with us and your mini-figs...

I second this. But that is so realistic, that its disgusting. So I guess you did a good job. And I think that is the first time I've used that  smiley.

Agreed... :pir-laugh:

Although it is realistic, can't we just go with the trans-red 1 x 1 plates, they're good enough...

As Darthperson said, I guess it was a success...

I was actually going to look for some when I started to get a nose bleed and thought this might be useful. So I stuck with what I thought looked most realistic. BTW: I still feel light headed, so you guys are lucky cause next time, I won't use real blood. I'll try to look for red colored bricks next time. I'm glad you all had the same reaction and glad you were able to understand where I'm going with this. Anyway, thanks for the feedback and thanks for the comments as well.

Seconded. At first I was thinking that this was really realistic, but then I read that it was real blood. Kind of gross if you ask me. Remind me never to trade with you on the BST forum.

The problem is the title is misleading. It says realistic blood test as if there's some sort of ingenious blood substitute used that looks like a realistic facsimile of blood. But it's not just realistic, it's real. It'd be like throwing a minifig in the ocean and calling it a realistic ocean. Of course it's realistic, it's the ocean. That doesn't count.

Did I mention it's gross? I also have this picture in my head of Jessica passed out on the ground and bloody minifigs wrapped in tissue all over her work station. Someone get her some help, please...

That post made me laugh really hard...! Yes, the title is misleading, but I meant the pic. It was so real, it looked fake.

And now a line from the Matrix...

"How do you define 'real'? Something that you can touch, taste, smell?" or bleed...

Seriously, this is gross. Geez, it even made me come out of my little LEGO funk to post. You might find this useful, Jessica (as Hinckley requested).

OK guys, relax, I only did this once and I promise I won't do it again. Although thanks for the link though.

Hehehe.

Though this isn't something you'd normally see, I gotta say, you're making the most of a bad situation. I admit, I jumped a little when I read it was real blood, as I really wasn't expecting that, and perhaps I was a bit grossed out, but, well, it does look real.:wink:

Anyway, I agree with half the people in this thread, but don't let everyone getting grossed out get you down. Just use trans-red bricks next time.

Well I don't have trans-red bricks or what know that is, but if you all are creeped out, I might as well show you what I was going to post as the almost realistic blood.....

What do you think, red or dark red?

I can't really decide, so can ya help? If your all my friends, you'd help.

Here's the real cry for help. Or maybe it's a threat. Is this really a desperate plea for which color looks more like blood? Can we have your bloody boogers to compare it to? This topic is just really getting on my nerves, to be honest. I'm about two posts away from closing it. Let's see if Jessica can find some true friends before then.

Come on guys, she needs help. Really. She doesn't even know what trans-red is. Alice, get that "special jacket" ready. And thanks for the link. I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at a gateway to counseling...

OK, laugh it up, but still I'm not sure what you're talking about. You want the truth? I was just joking. I'm sorry if ya think I was inmature or something. I thought this would be fun, but I guess it turned out to be like talking to my mom. I think I should have stayed at BH or Tabletown. Anyway, this isn't fun anymore. Yes, I'm mentally ill. But I'm getting better though it seems like I'm not. I am. I'm just being drama queen about this. Anyway, if ya wish to answer me or need to contact me I'll be at Tabletown or BH, reviewing other people's MOC's.
