hikouki Posted February 6 Posted February 6 SW minifigs seem to be the line with the most 'valuable' minifigs. They seem to appreciate in value over time. I know many of you have extensive collections out there. How do you keep them safe, but at the same time display or feature them? I posted in another thread that all my minifigs are displayed inside Ikea Sannahed frames, with some custom frame inserts. I can hang those on the wall and at the same time keep them safe from dust. Are there any outstanding product out there for display you might recommend? How do you catalog the figs and keep track of their versions if they are displayed? Quote
dvw2 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 For a long time I've had mine on a shelf high, high above ... but I think it's now time to retire them for a while in favor of decluttering and making space for some other things, so I've started bagging them. I'll probably break down all but a couple of sets and put them away for another day or another generation. Quote
ZeldaTheSwordsman Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I don't display my minifigures or my sets anymore; being dismantled when not needed is healthier for them and helps mitigate dust buildup. I dismantle and bag the minifigures when they're not in use, and I usually tuck those bags inside the bag or bin the corresponding set is stowed in. Keeps them nicely together. Some special cases are stored in a separate box. Quote
