[MOC] Ring stabbing

Two Wolfpack knights stole a horse from a meadow. But they do not have much experience riding a horse without a saddle. Therefore, they have hung two rings on a tree, through which they want to stab with the lance.

Could they be the inventors of the Zeeland* tradition of ring stabbing? Races are still held there where unsaddled horses riders have to stab through a ring with a short lance. The ring gets smaller each subsequent round, and whoever is the last to stab the ring is the winner.
