Hi folks apologies for what is probably a very newbie question. I have tried searching for results here and online in general and have only found 1 result (from 2014).

Basically I'm trying to find out a way to pin a curved track to a 32x32 baseplate other than using ballasting like the method seen in Bevins Brickworld that raises the track up 2 or 3 plates high.

I've made an attempt myself already using plates with knobs (and a lot of trial and error) and then tiles to fill in the gaps ......but have found the track sometimes pops up so I've obviously done something wrong.

Has anyone come up with a template or image of where the connection points are between a curved track and a baseplate?

That's a tough one, even when using ballast, most of the contact points are actually tiles. Each tie is essentially a new XY coordinate system. The least parts intensive solution is to have the curves on the floor or table without any baseplate beneath. Next best is to have the baseplates locked together (e.g., with plates) and let the curved track float around the curve.
