Pineapple Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 (edited) Hilarious. on a side note, this set looks like one of my STOOLS. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bab/776956675.html Edited July 31, 2008 by Pineapple Quote
LEGOscum Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 It's tempting to poke fun but I have to remember that we all started out making sets like this. And where would the reader's photos section of the LEGO Magazine be without people like this? Jeremy Quote
Deinonychus Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 And where would the reader's photos section of the LEGO Magazine be without people like this? True Nice collection of parts though Quote
Rook Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Wow lacking some synergy! I might buy it for $5, for the pieces. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 The price is a bit optimistic, and i almost wanted to move it to the BSTF forum Don't let Bonaparte see the spelling of that advertiser by the way.... But seriously, as Rebelscum already said, we all started out like this and it means more then just using the instructions to me. Where are your MOCs pineapple? Quote
Skipper 24 Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Holy .... it's the coolest ship ever! lol. I agree it would be good for the large parts collection. Quote
Pineapple Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 (edited) Where are your MOCs pineapple? The Smithsonian and on George Lucas' desk which he looks at for inspiration. Just kidding, but seriously; My masterpiece was given to a Rabi who refused to sell it to Hitler. Needless to say Hitler was pissed and we all know how that turned out. CloneMe Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 I always wonder how WWII started... I would have to laugh even more if someone actually bought this just for the parts. If someone bought this for the parts, I'd still be really shocked. I bet a kid posted it. Quote
Dark Sword Ragnarok Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Most likely. Notice how it's in the "Baby and Kid Stuff" section of Craigslist. DSR Quote

Pineapple Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 Ah, so you must be really old, gray and wrinkly then... Son, I've been building Legos when you were soup in your mamas crotch. When war is in your blood, killing is as easy as breathing. Eye of the tiger! Quote

Stauder Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 (edited) you were soup in your mamas crotch. Not a way to talk to a staff member... Let's hope he understands you where kidding. He will, but still, what if he didint? Or if it offended Cptn Green hair? Stauder. Edited July 31, 2008 by Stauder Quote
Pineapple Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 Stryker said that to some guy in X-Men 2 and that movie was PG-13. I assume the majority of people here can watch PG-13 movies. <- Pringles Man Quote

I assume the majority of people here can watch PG-13 movies. <- Pringles Man Yes, you can swear here (To some extent anyway). But there is a difference between swearing and offending somone. I am now going to call you a dimwit and see if you feel at least upset. You dimwit. I dont mean it, but you can still be offended. Catch my drift? Stauder. Edit - As a side note, that was a example, do not take it personally. Edit 2 - Actually, that example may seem too extreme, so I will tone it down. Dont want to get in trouble. Pineapple Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 I know some forums replace bad words with other words. For example: What the Palpatine? You piece of Bantha-Poodoo. Son of a C3PO. Quote

Trudop561 Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Wow! I couldn't believe that someone could make a gunship like that! It's so great, a masterpiece in the toy history, a UCS RGS! Seriously, it's the ugliest Star Wars MOC I have ever seen. The colours are shit. The wings too, the angle for the front cockpits too, the details too.. Quote
Dovchenko Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I can understand you are joking, no worries. But this told you that i was kidding, so use one if you are being sarcastic Can't believe how much friendship is coming from a bowl of soup. And seriously, that MOC is worse than my Mystery Castle entry. Quote
The Nightwing Reborn Posted August 1, 2008 Posted August 1, 2008 I love it! This kid is so proud of his work that he wants 80 bucks for it. I think we should applaud such optimism for our MOCs, as we all have for all things we create. It would have more potential if it was one color and airtight in my opinion. As stated before this is clearly a kid who is possibly over-optimistic and will almost certainly be sad to get no money. Look on the bright side of this MOC, there's a T.V. Give you any ideas TLG? )TNR( Quote
