Auroralampinen Posted October 29, 2025 Author Posted October 29, 2025 And now i noticed my Windows decided to update itself in the night. So yesterday's instuctions progress was lost:/. All right time to start again:). Hopefully my Windows doesn't anymore update it self:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted October 29, 2025 Author Posted October 29, 2025 (edited) More progress for the instructions. Only 588 pages to go:). I had to check, while this has 130pcs less than on the 42156 peugeot. This has more building steps than the peugeot(peugeot 611 steps. My new model 651 steps) :). Auroralampinen Posted October 29, 2025 Author Posted October 29, 2025 Allright now i will take a break. I have now constructed this all morning straight, now only 443 pages to go:). Quote

It's great to see you developing your skills and making newer, better instructions! Quote
Auroralampinen Posted October 30, 2025 Author Posted October 30, 2025 Allright after a "little break" and night of sleeping i'm again back in business :). 367 pages to go:). This is the last building stage for the first book:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted October 30, 2025 Author Posted October 30, 2025 Pneumatic instructions in progress:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted October 30, 2025 Author Posted October 30, 2025 Well, happy news i have now created the pneumatic and cable photo instructions. And i have 99.99% confidence that you can easily build this:). And i will be soon back working on the digital instructions:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 2, 2025 Author Posted November 2, 2025 (edited) A little update:). I have not made any progress on the instructions. I have tooked a little break and yesterday was a all saints' day(pyhäinpäivä in finnish). And i did go to graveyard to light up few candles for my lost relatives. So i will be soon back on the instructions hopefully:). Edited November 2, 2025 by Auroralampinen Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 2, 2025 Author Posted November 2, 2025 Ok, sad news my computer didn't want to work. So i had to do a restart and i again have to start from scratch. So i will now shelf the launch for now. I don't know when i will reveal the new model. Sorry:(. Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 11, 2025 Author Posted November 11, 2025 Well, i have to be honest. I did play a bit with the newest moc idea, the tracked backhoe loader. But it did have a few flaws on it's gearbox design. So i will put that on the indefident hiatus. And i have started thinking a new model. And since i do care about my loyal fanbase that model didn't meet my strict quality control needs. So i have decided to go in the new direction. Because my fanbase and their feedback is center of the my building spree and moc career. So going foward every model will have gen 3 instructions, and i will take more time perfecting designs. So in the new direction my mocs will be hopefully much better than some of my previous slop. Yes, like the 42213 upgrade with bad instructions or the 8043 mini model which didn't look like the 8043. So while i can be a rubbish designer, i'm still passionate about my model. And i do really want my models to stand test of time. And hopefully look really good on technic display case without compromising functionalty. So the next model will be the true flagship. And since my fanbase is center of my operations. I will work hard to deliver you a product which doesn't suck, and will have the premium brick brand level of quality controll. And the year in the eurobricks has been a really massive good learning tool for me. And my current building skills are unrecognizable from my childhood years moc designs. So i do really care about your support and feedback, i might not be the perfect human being. But we can always improve. And with these words, i'm really gratefull of your support and suggestion. So my words cannot describe how happy i'm to be part of this community. So big thanks to all of my loyal fanbase members, and stay tuned for my newest moc adventures:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 11, 2025 Author Posted November 11, 2025 Here is my newest design for the boxer 6 engine:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 11, 2025 Author Posted November 11, 2025 Test build for a differential steering:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 A ton of engineering later. Now the differential steering can work with one motor thru a gearboxes:). Now i have engine and drivetrain for tracks:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 Ok, now the new model's drivetrain looks promising. And the new model will have my first ever differential steering system:). And my idea is that this model is powered by 1x power functions XL motor:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 Testing first boom design idea:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 First track design concept:). I hope that with worm gears the jerky movement doesn't appear:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 Allright i did a little bit testing for the differential steering, and it works so perfectly. So i have now thought those functions. So the functions will be controlled by a master selector, between drive and boom controls. In the drive mode you will select either the drive or steering. And on the boom controls, you control first stage of the boom and the scong stage plus boom rotation and outriggers. So this will need a bucket load of engineering. But im so happy that my first attempt to make differential steering works soo well. And this model will have 1x Power Functions XL motor to power everything:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 A little bit of fine tuning. Now the differential steering system looks really promising:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 And in case you are wondering. This differential steering is completely my own design. I builded this from real life counterpart technical picture. But little bit tweeking to fit in lego system:). And my differential is specially build for single motor model. And this can be operated by one motor thru a series of gearboxes:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 14, 2025 Author Posted November 14, 2025 A little bit more progress:). And since this will be my own designed machine. And not based on any real life counterpart. I decided. Well, if this isin't based on anything let's pack in a insane amount of functions. And my plan is this will have around over 10 functions. All powered via one XL motor:). And in case you didn't know. When i was kid i liked to create unique machines which aren't based on anything. The new model, which celebrates my one year of eurobricks. Will be again completely unique design which doesn't excist in real life:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 14, 2025 Author Posted November 14, 2025 Allright since this is a fantasy vehicle i can let loose my creativity. And i have started thinking the cab:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 16, 2025 Author Posted November 16, 2025 Well, i wasn't happy with the first chassis solution. So after a ton of re engineering here is new chassis:). Quote
Auroralampinen Posted November 17, 2025 Author Posted November 17, 2025 Well, after a ton of engineering. And a few gray hairs later. Now the undergarriage with drivetrain and differential steering is done:). Quote
