Here is my progress on Darth Malak's ship from Knights of the Old Republic, to scale with my Harrower. I always wanted to design this and with the 25th anniversary Darth Malak I thought it was the perfect opportunity. This is an early version, many of the greebles will probably change.

Unfortunately, there has to be a transparent support beam through the middle, however I don't think it detracts from the appearance too much.

I would appreciate some feedback.

I love the KotOR game and I love your build! It gives me a feeling of ... familiarity :cry_happy:

The angles of the dorsal and the ventral "beak" look so neat and well mimic the original.

I don't even think you need to improve the greebling. It looks well with the studs on the surface, giving it a fitting texture.

It's a pity it needs the trasparent support but understandable from stability point of view. The ship is designed to work in zero gravity, unlike your model

Do you have other photo angles of the ship?

Very nice work all round, especially on the angles of the front section. Regarding the central beam, would it work better to have several single transparent beams spaced along the structure, as multiple transparent beams placed side by side isn't very, well, transparent. Not sure if this is just replacing one problem with another problem though...

Thank you, I will post some more pictures when I have built the rest of the left side, the parts have just arrived.

Impressive! Now I want to play KOTOR again  The transparent beam doesn't bother me much, although it does seem to slightly affect swooshability.

That makes me and you both. The ship is definitely not as swooshable as all my others due to a lot the techniques to get the angles and get the sections to join seamlessly.

Thanks, this is possible, however it would also require another black stand on the bottom as the bottom section past the hangar is also “floating”, so it wouldn’t provide much structural support to the top section.

The model is digitally finished in Stud.io now, with some minor changes to make. The piece count is 2544 and it is roughly to scale with my Harrower. Some areas do not translate very well on stud.io due to illegal building techniques, and are at incorrect angles.

This is awesome! Just curious if you're still planning on releasing like you did the Harrower. I'd love to get my hands on some instructions.

impressive models! nostalgia kicks in. in retrospect, those cutscenes showing the Leviathan and its bridge may seem to be of low quality. but back in the days when KOTOR was released, they were exactly what was needed for good storytelling!
