Dovchenko Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 (edited) You're at home, bored, wishing you didn't screw up at the meeting at work today. Or, fall on your latest MOC of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Ouch. You turn on the TV and "Honey I Shrunk The Kids" is on. You think about what life would be like if you were so small... small enough to fit into a LEGO set... *yawn*... you feel tired. You fall asleep at the boring B-Rated movie and embrace the couch. You wake up, suddenly realizing... you have just shrunk! To the size of a LEGO figure! It's scary at first, but you get used to it. You find your way around the house, however, nothing seems to suit your size perfectly. But then you remember. That set I bought would make the perfect home! Climbing the shelf, you smile proudly upon your set... one which seems even more appealing now that it is your home. If you could live in one of your LEGO sets (ones you will buy in the future too), at mini-fig size, which one would it be? I'd live in the Mustafar Set. No kidding. I'm going to pick up for the holidays. Living in a playset is like living in a mousetrap, but hey, it's oddly designed and I'd be happy knowing my lightsaber glows ( ). I'd sleep on that floating platform and probably sizzle to death long before I can complain. Plus, there's an elevated platform and a garbage can (which takes out the trash on its own when you pull the lever at the bottom. For eats? I dunno, Obi-Wan meat. Come on, he would have died anyways. Also, if I'm ever bored, I can attempt to have a lightsaber duel involving either me or Obi-Wan falling into the lava. Also, I've got SOME walls at least to protect me from any oncoming lava rocks. Not that they don't purposely fall down on me. Unfortunately, me being a LUL Anakin, I'd have a bit of trouble moving and if I ever wanted to take my head off (?) I'd have a bit of trouble. What about you? Edited August 4, 2008 by Dovchenko Quote
maiq the liar Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 GreenGrocer (fully furnished), town plan (can provide for my needs), or outback airstrip (i'm partial to OA). Quote
WhiteHexagon Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Is it allowed to suggest any set with Princess Leia ;) Quote
Nikola Bathory Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 Hye, that's a very ogininal topic!!!! Hm, I would like to live in 6073: Knight's Castle - a cool castle! But I would also like to live in the Eldorado Fortress and swim in the sea (if there are no sharks, of course). Quote
legotrainfan Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 (edited) You must have a very creative mind to come up with such a topic! It somehow reminds me of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Well, I'd live in the Green Grocer or in Cafe Corner (if I had them). Edited July 30, 2008 by legotrainfan Quote
Shoc Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 I always used to think of things like this... Well, I'd live in the Green Grocer or in Cafe Corner (if I had them). I would too (if I had them) because they have a lot of space and enough things in them to keep me going. :skull: Quote
adik_sa_lego Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 i'd have the 4954 model town home as my permanent residence, and the 4996 Beach House as my vacation getaway. great thing about these sets is, i can re-model anytime! Quote
Trudop561 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 I think I would live in the new Death Star or in the Republic Attack Gunship. In the first set, I would command the whole Galactic Empire from the conference room and destroy planets with my superlaser :skull: And for the second set, I would have a short live. Anyway I would fight alongside the clone troopers Quote
hewkii9 Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 I think I'd live in the big Vikings ship, I'd take down the catapult after slaying the big snake to build up my cabin, and I'd use the snake's parts to finish my cabin and build a koi pond. Quote
metalandi Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 I think it most likely would be this one, 3739 Blacksmith Shop: It looks really comfortable and i always would have a beer barrel at home Quote
tin7_creations Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 For some insane reason, I would choose Arkham Asylum. Either that, or the Batcave. Quote
captaintau Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 The second-edition system-scale MF. It can fly to the nearest cantina, seems comfortable. Some stimulation. A droid to wait on you. A princess to chat up. Quote
Capt. Bluebeard Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 As much as I like pirates, I'd rather live in this set: You really can't get much better than a massive fort, can you? Bluebeard, out- Quote
Norrington Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Captian's Qaurters in the Black Seas Barracuda. It's the only pirate ship with a complete cabin (and to have all it's window's with panes of Lattice.) Though, it would be flying different flags, if I was there. Quote
Kingboy Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 The Beach House could be a nice choice. Rent has to be cheaper than the Green Crocer/Market Street apartments, and since I have two copies of the set I can live next door to a decent coffee shop. But honestly, I'd rather live here: It's a little small, so I'd have to boot the two previous tenants over to join their compatriots over at the River Fortress (recently reconstructed after many years in storage), but the Forestman's Hideout is still one of my favorite sets, and it's the only set that stayed assembled through my rather lengthy 'Dark Ages' period. Plus, I get to spend the time living out boyhood fantasies of living in a treehouse! Quote
Bob Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 Probably the new Death Star. In the Death Star 2 there was no room. Plus the lazer wasnt fully operational. The new one you can blow up any planet. Or you can send down troops. Quote
