Hey! This MOC is fantastic, I absolutely adore it! With such few pieces you created the 6278 like no other. Please explain the bridge building technic, I just don't get it. Great job mate, really, I love Islanders and this is a Set I definitely would buy!

@Christophh, glad to see you like it! The bridge is made by tying some string around each of the bucket handles, and then I connected those pieces of string near the holes at both ends, this then allowed for a working bridge design.

Wow, that is really creative, tough i would consider it as a bit of an illegal building technic. But it doesn't matter as you nailed the design. Really not getting enough of it!

I'm sure they would be, I've seen plenty used, and its not as if these are going to be made into real sets or anything.

This is a MOC competition, after all.

Great build! I like that you were able to capture all the details in this scale and this was instantly recognizable! Clever use of the shoulder pads armor for the boats. Works really well!
