Packrat Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 just wondering what everyones best E-bay snaggs are? my best is trolling the BIN and getting a 7184 MTT for 8.00 it came with box and instruction was only missing 6 pieces the 4dark grey guns and the 2 brown covers for them. BEST part was it was sent without the droids so i emailed and asked if maybe they were forgotton and got a response that they were left out by mistake and would be shipped for no cost, I recieved them 3 days later and instead of the 7 i received 15 droids with a blue commander included for those who dont want to read my dribble 7184 MTT included box and instuction + 8 extra droids for 8.00 and 5.75 s/h this was june 30 of this year

recon Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Ok, my first pleasant suprise off ebay....... Won an auction for 25 pounds of Legos for $55., and it winds up that she made a mistake...oopppsss, it was actually 55 pounds of Legos.....(just pay the extra shipping).....there is a god. So far it has these sets(that I have identified. AAT 7155 MTT 7184 fort legorado technic vader technic stormtrooper technic jango fett a couple 1980's space sets. Imperial shuttle mos espa pod race set. a 90's castle set blacksmith shop race boat 65081 R2/C3PO collectors set NIB 2150 train station 4559 Cargo train complete 4565 Freight and crane railway 7110 landspeeder 7103 jedi duel 7111 droid fighters 7143 jedi starfighter 7161 Gungan sub 9748 droid developer 9747 Robotic inventor kit Sopwith Camel plane 2532 Airline promo 3438 Mc Donalds drive thru Police station 6454 Countdown corner ..................and.......the list is still going on..... Jerry P.S. and it's about time to get a great deal............almost makes up for all the times I've been screwed.
Hobbes Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Got a fully functional 9V Train Speed Regulator (with everything except the box) for EUR 3 plus shipping once. Considering its official price of EUR 53.99 here in Austria I think it's quite a good deal. I know it's available for around EUR 20 on ebay but comparing it to the retail price makes the deal seem bigger ;) Other deals I consider OK: 5590 Modelteam (MIB) for GBP 40 6276 Eldorado Fortress for EUR 35 (excellent condition) 6277 Imperial Trading Post (MIB) for EUR 30 (great condition) 6286 SES (MIB) for EUR 55 (great condition) 6339 Shuttle Ramp for EUR 35 (great condition) Other than that I had a few good and some not that great deals. But sometimes I just want things without waiting for a possible deal that comes in 6+ months...
