The Rancor Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Just bought every set, oh yes, - but cant find the fighter tank? Which shop has it??? I haven't got a clue where the tank is, but I MUST have it!!! I checked TRU, Woolies and Argos and there were no Fighter Tanks! Shoc Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 (edited) Besides, it's just a poster - big whoop. No... It's the new Clone Wars sets are out (in UK) and a free poster comes with them at Argos... My opinion on actually getting the sets is that they're a bit too big and expensive for me, I just want the figures! :skull: Edited July 26, 2008 by Shoc Quote
Ronan Nissen Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 The prices on shop@home are through the roof! Its €120 for the RGS! Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Allow me to stoke the fires of anger.... It turns out the RGS is $139 CAD, Clunk-a-dunk is $119 and...WE AREN'T EVEN GETTING THE FIGHTER TANK! I am sorely disappointed, TLG - that was one of the sets I wanted most! Very disappointed. Quote
commanderbly42 Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 WE AREN'T EVEN GETTING THE FIGHTER TANK! I am sorely disappointed, TLG - that was one of the sets I wanted most!Very disappointed. I feel the same way. I'm predicting that it will be like the TIE Crawler. Still, why do they keeping doing this to people in North America? Don't we a right to the Fighter Tank like the rest of the world? Quote
Skipper 24 Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 I no but please remember that people in North America have much cheaper prices. Quote
commanderbly42 Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 I no but please remember that people in North America have much cheaper prices. Yes but we also end up with later releases and exclusives that aren't exclusive elsewhere in the world (TIE Crawler for example). And this year's line has been anything but cheap. Quote
Snake...SNAKE...SNAAAAKE?! Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 America is fine but Canada is messed ( in terms of lego ) we pay 1.6 times the Americans and get thier horrible lack of a fighter tank. and high gas prices, failing government, yadayadayada... WHO CARES!!!!!!! MY LIFE ISN'T ABOUT HOCKEY AND BEER, IT'S FRIGGIN' LEGO!!!!! WHY AM I SO WOUND UP?!!!!! Quote
JimBee Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 Yeah, I got a cool poster with a list of figs on one side and a cool poster of the sets on the other side. But wait... the TX-130 isnt being released in North America? That just plain sucks! Quote
Oky Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 How do you know that the Saber Tank will not be released in Canada? And is the US ever going to get it? Quote
Erdbeereis Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 I'm pretty sure it will be released later in the year as a Target exclusive. Because if you look on Target's website they list the tank as an exclusive, but there is no picture yet. Quote
Lego12 Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 (edited) Closest Pic I could find of it: Small pic, but good enough for me. I REALLY want the fighter tank! It looks sweet! It's coming out in October! Nooooooooooooooooo! Edited July 27, 2008 by lego12 Quote

JimBee Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Joey Lock, thats not the poster I got with my RGs... I got the double-sided one that we saw on the TRU website, but did you get yours at a different store? Quote
Stash2Sixx Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 As far as I know, Target is suppossed to be carrying set #7679, Republic Fighter Tank. The Target.om site had them listed as out of stock, and no one at my local Target has a clue when it comes to LEGO. So... Constant checking on! Quote

brickzone Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Tried to get the imperial dropship (reduced in price by €2 in new catalogue), which also falls under the poster offer (at least here in Ireland). However, not only was the poster out of stock, they also only had the rebel speeders (same item code). It would have been my first Star Wars set - I had planned to use the torso and legs for custom space minifigs. Quote
