Hello,

Yesterday I visited the Lego website.

Í was a bit suprised because the prices of some sets went up.

for example:

troll batlle wheel was 39.99 now 41.99 euro

skeleton tower and dwarf mine: was 49.99 now 54.99 euro

the final joust; was 7.99 now 8.99 euro

crossbow attack was 4.99 now 5.99 euro

other sets are priced the way they've always been.

I live in Holland,

Is this the only country where the prices went up?

greetings

Fenrir

No price change in NZ. Maybe you were really actually getting them cheap, and they've put the prices up to what they should be.

You should check out Pim toys, a Dutch online toy shop

thank you all for the responses.

It doesn't realy matter.

There are many online shops who sell lego cheaper.

sometimes I buy my lego from the lego website, when some sets are on sale

Anyway, I still think it;s a bit strange.

Irish prices are still the same... €45 for the battle wheel, needless to say I still do not have it.

€59.99 also seems a lot for Skeleton Tower (I bought the complete collection though when it came out - it was priced quite cheap for IRL and included ship attack).

€75 for Troll Warship is also €5 more than many other European countries. (I was weak-willed and bought it in a local toy store though, same price there too) and even €70 is expensive enough I think.

what am I complaining about.............

It problably has got a lot to do with taxes and shipping costs. Ireland is an Island so I think that could be the reason for those prices. On the other hand I know that the Lego in Denmark is more expensive compared with Holland. (always been)

In Denmark the taxes are 25% en in Holland 20%, I believe that's the reason why lego in Denmark is priced that way

even though Lego was made there.
