New Pirate "Build a Minifigure" Q1 2024 - Share your thoughts & photos

For those pirate fans who haven't seen this yet:

As part of  "Build a Minifigure" BAM you can currently find (i.e. combine) a very fine pirate figure in the LEGO stores:

The torso is the torso from the 40597 GWP set from last year - but now we have legs that fit perfectly.

And the tricorne with the blond hairpiece is also pretty good.

So get them while you can

I picked up a couple of these--love having an excuse to do the BAM; it's super fun and a great deal these days!

Got some about a week ago.  Had to raid the Minifig Factory parts tower to find the Tricorn with Blond Hair though as there were none to be found in the BAM tower.  Now I need to go back to hopefully find some of the February new BAM parts.

I still find it weird that the official BAM pirate has a bow and arrow.

From my understanding the default head is female and default weapon is a bow an arrow.

I never saw an official announcement or anything but I fear you are right.

The bow & arrow piece is actually fine. For knights. 

As you can see, I have preferred a different combination in the end.  Luckily the torso is gender-neutral.

Pirate girls with freckles is not really what I need in my collection

If you digg into the accessories container, you can find some swords from early BAM figures

It's a pity that LEGO is not going to include firearms in the BAM towers

They aren't freckles - she's got scurvy!

Aye - it's almost a small set!

This is really a very nice minifigure! I like the printed legs that match the torso.The MOD as a man fits also well.
