legotrainfan Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Hi and welcome! Nice to have another train fan around! I'm much into 9V stuff, though I must admit that the RC freight train looks fabulous. I'm pretty sure that the rails for the train line released in 2009 will be the same as the ones for the RC trains. So buying RC trains is not completely in vain. It's just annoying to get replacement parts for a train line when a new one has been released. That's all as you certainly are aware of yourself. Quote

Great to see another train fan around! Welcome to Eurobricks, enjoy your time around here! Oh, we are all waiting to see first pics of the new train system. I have a feeling that we get astounding new possibilities next year. Too sad it won´t be powered by 9V from the power outlet, but the new rechargeable batteries are way better than the IR-system. To you have pics of your collection? And where are you from if I may ask? I´m just curious... Train ON! Quote

I am in the process of taking pics of my collection, We had a major earthquake in my Lego town (Friggin Cat) But the clean up crews are working 24/7 to repair the damage. And I am from Livonia, Michigan a suburb of Detroit.........(Of course I don't like to admit that) I love Michigan I have been around the world three times and always no matter were I was always wished I was back home. And thanks for the warm reception guys or gals. Hi and welcome! Nice to have another train fan around! I'm much into 9V stuff, though I must admit that the RC freight train looks fabulous. Sorry I have not figured out how to respond to to quotes in one reply yet.........Well guess I just did! Actually I purchased the Cargo train first just for the way it looked! And added the Passanger train later, They are great trains there is no doubt about that it just irks me that they are switching systems But I will live. Edited July 29, 2008 by bullet8542 Quote
