Inertia Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Well... Here's another piece of siege weaponry, also containing Anthony Sava's Orc Decals, so therefore, credit for them goes to him. Cannabalizing pieces from their short lived Battle Wheel, the Orcs decide to make something a little more on par with superior Elven and Human siege weapons. Using a throwing arm, the Crusher sets loose a stump with spears sticking out straight into enemy forces. Sometimes the onboard Orcs get vertigo because of the slanting nature of their creation. Sometimes they also fall to their deaths while rearming the thrower... Throwing arm, as you can see, onboards Orcs have to climb to the tip of the arm to replace the ammo, this is the cause of many deaths, although it is normally done by goblins, as they are expendable. The crew onboard, normally the Crusher can hold 6-7 Orcs, sometimes they have been known to fit 27 in a pinch. The Archer tower, a very hard place to shot from, because of the slant, although they do manage it, we at the Crown Kingdom are still not sure how... A general oversees his troops, he also screams curses out to them when they do not push the Crusher faster. Behind him, the Overseer whips nearby Orcs into line. He is catagorized by the Tattooed chest. The general, he is not a patient Orc, Two soldiers to the left and a scout to the right, Scouts are normally archers and skilled trackers. The Overseer and two soldiers. Hope you liked my creation! C and C welcome! Quote
iamded Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 This is... just... beautiful! My kind of creation. I love the half ramshackle, half professional look of it. Actually, it really doesn't look ramshackle at all, rather cleverly designed and reinforced. The weapon is awesome, I would not want one of them hurtling towards me. It's missing a banner or two though. I like your Orks too. I've recently redone all my Trolls (yes, I'm sticking with Trolls ) to add some variety, giving them different helmets and weapons. Those decals look great though, perfect for a non-official Orc faction. Kudos to Anthony Sava for making them, and to you for applying them so well. Do you have a link to where I can find these? Again, great job here, Inertia! ~Peace Quote
I Scream Clone Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Nice Siege weaponry/ hot rod! Looks like it can get a bit of speed up I like the look of the custom Orcs too! Well done, that throwing arm is cool! Quote
NewRight Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 The soldier on the left in the last picture looks great. And the real looks good but a little random in places. Quote

Thanks, the throwing arm needs improvement, but it does work, unlike most of my other siege weapons. NewRight said: The soldier on the left in the last picture looks great. Thank you for your input, as for the Slave master, you'll be seeing him again soon in another MOC Quote

Oh, those decals are neat. Unfortunately, I prefer using official TLC torsos for my Castle line, but if I were to ever make a custom army I'd definately go for these. Thanks for the link! ~Peace Quote
skinkfem Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 this reminds me of an skaven doomwheel (warhammer) perhaps the orcs have looted a derelict doomwheel and made it orcy (i refuse to say orky, this isn´t 40k) like you have said it looks like a dangerous vessel for both sides, but then life is cheap. Well, Goblins and Orcs are not in short supply Edited July 26, 2008 by Inertia Quote
