_Avgvstvs_ Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 This set is inspired by experimental archaeology, specifically by the Roman castrum recreated in Sassari Italy. We have an embankment reinforced with stones topped by a palisade, a moat filled with water and an access with a lookout tower complete the set. The tents can be easily removed and opened to insert the minifigures inside, obviously the commander's tent is much more confortable and spacious than those of the soldiers. Outside we have a large tree, with a crop of wheat ready to be harvested, some hares are eating when warriors on horseback arrive, are the returning to their bivouac or will the want to attack the outpost ? Like all my sets, this one is also inspired by reality, if you like it, vote for it, thanks. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/055878e1-0f61-4db9-bd27-9fba60aa474d Quote
zoth33 Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 I like the design of this and it's nice to see Roman builds. Great looking minifigs too. I supported on ideas. Quote
