PossibilityNotNow Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 Hi I am just assembling a yamacha model from lego technic no 42159 and I have a problem assembling the gearbox. The instructions show that the letters F and G on part no 6447081 should be perfectly aligned however I am not able to do that. I am attaching pictures and please give me some hint. I cant upload photos directly here so there is a link to imgur https://imgur.com/a/XF7gNOF Quote

You can embed from any site not just Flickr including imgur. Just need to post the image link "https://image.png" into the post.@PossibilityNotNow Either you have a defective moulded part (axle not aligned with outer contour) and have to contact customer service for replacement or you are building a knock-off set from China. The alignment should be perfect with an axle in between the parts no matter how you rotate them. Notice the yellow gears tooth tips are also in-line with F and G. And how it should look like inside the gearbox: Edited December 30, 2023 by R0Sch Quote
PossibilityNotNow Posted December 30, 2023 Author Posted December 30, 2023 Probably a badly formed block. I've already written to Lego, we'll see what they say about it. Quote

That wouldn't surprise me considering that this is a very complex part. Next time contact them through the chat instead of contact form because they send out the replacement part order immediately.
