microdem Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 Hi everyone, I am a new member since 2019. It's my first post to share my moc on eurobricks forum. My “LEGO Historical Building Project” this year focuses on the Railway Department of the Government-General of Taiwan. The main building of the railway department was constructed from 1919 to 1920 in Taipei city by Japanese architect Moriyama Matsunosuke (1869 - 1949). It's a very large building, so I need to divide it into several sections to work on. The Phase 1 model includes the central section of the main building, comprising 7,135 brick parts and measuring 60.8 x 57.2 x 45.1 cm in dimensions. Here is a speed build animation video on YouTube: Railway Department of Taiwan | Speed Build Hope you enjoy it! Quote
JopieK Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 Wow that is a stunning building. Both in LEGO and the real version. Really great work @microden. Also: welcome again to Eurobricks and thanks for sharing! Quote
Yoggington Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 There's a lot of great details here. My favourites are the variety of roofs - especially the ingot bricks and the way you tucked them away at the edges, very clever! Quote
Man with a hat Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 Ooh, impressive. That is looking awesome! Quote
Feuer Zug Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 Gorgeous building. The attention to details is amazing and really makes this creation pop. NPU with the fenders. Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 Impressive build! Can't wait to see the future additions. It will be even more impressive then! The front wall is curved or has angled side sections? I can see it in your video, but how is it done? Quote
