Bugatti Chiron Engine Help

Hi Team

I am hoping someone here can assist me. This is my first of the build probably not the ideal technic build to start with...

Here are the images of the build. I am not sure why my crank shafts are not moving when the car moves forward. I have the gear on D. 
I can move the crank shafts manually and you can see them move but not when car is in motion. 

The annoying part is that once I took these images and tested it was fine. Now I have completed the build and it's not working. I am hoping I do not need to reverse all of book2 steps.

Hi,

I don't  know exactly why the engine doesn't spin but from the picture it seems that you didn't join the two halves correctly. Maybe check the manual for that. I would also check of the engine had the gears correctly placed. Hope it helps.
