[MOC] 10497 Alternate AT-AP

Not all encounters exploring Outer Rim planets are peacful and somtimes military presence is needed - that's where the newest addition to the Classic Space Clone Force comes to rescue. 

AT-AP (All Terrain Adventure Pod)- built entirely out from the parts of the wonderful 10497 set. 

Functions:

1. Front part slides out to reveal the interrior - can fit 2 figures as pilots
2. Top canon can be rotated, possible to fit 1 figure
3. Original rover is intact and can be used as support or transport for the last minifigure that's included in the set. 

Model is stable, legs are fixed and there is no articulation in the major joints. Feet can be rotated and also top turret has a gun arc of around 60 degrees. 

Designed and built with real bricks first to test stability, durability of all the connections and only then the model has been made digital for the renders and instructions. (IRL photos will be uploaded soon). Some smaller bits like guns can be broken quite easily so I would consider this more as a display piece. It's not fragile by any means, but be prepared for advanced build and challange if You decide purchasing instructions during assembly.  

Next to my previous 10497 alternate - LAAT. It's a shame that I have only one copy of the 10497, would love to see both builds together IRL. Topic with LAAT can be seen HERE.

Any more suggestions and ideas what else from Clone era could be built from the 10497 set?
