ulix Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 (edited) My most ambitious project yet. It's 10 studs wide (12 with the mirrors, 18/19 when extended). It's all in appropriate miifig scale and has lots of moving parts and play features. I wanted to enter this into BDP Season 1, but I was too slow with the reworks and the instructions. Then I didn't work on it for a while, and now too many parts aren't available anymore in the BDP palettes. Anyway, so here you have it. Unfortunately I don't have the cash right now to actually build it IRL, or I would. You can get the instructions and see more images on Rebrickable. I hope it's fine if I plug this as a newbie. If not I apologize: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-161126/ulix/luxury-motorhome-modular-minifig-scale I appreciate any comments, likes and shares, obviously, as well as any questions. ulix Posted October 21, 2023 Author Posted October 21, 2023 1.2 Patch Notes: Added eight small 1x1 plates as exterior top lights. Changes to the kitchen area so a minifig can stand on both sides of the oven. Changed the SNOT for the surfboards on the bathroom wall. Added cheese slope on the outside bathroom wall to indicate a rear view camera. Added lights to the bottom of the roof (ceiling lights). Switched the steering wheel to the right side (UK-style) so the entrance door on the left makes more sense. The door in the other direction (42819) doesn’t exist in white. Added a drawer shelf left of the dining area, and changed the colors of the drawers to the right. Added wall-mounted speakers to the TV area. Added a little fire extinguisher to one of the compartments, why not!?! Other small changes Quote
Toastie Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 I totally missed this ... sorry! It is so cool to see all the love you put into the interior, which is the living space - phantastic. So many, countless details. Another MOC, where it is all about the love for the detail "inside" - TLG never cares about anymore. Cozy - functional - I'd love to live in that motor home. All the best, Thorsten Quote
ulix Posted October 27, 2023 Author Posted October 27, 2023 Thank you. I've also sold my first two instructions, which is nice. Hope this builds up over time, I'm working on new projects to hopefully develop some kind of (hopefully good) reputation. Quote
