Here is a new video with the biggest quadruped I ever made. Hope you will like it.

Incredible! Very clever idea to have two servos in the hip joint actuating hip and knee, and thus keeping legs very light. Also, amazing job with programming; the motion is soo fluid.

I am closely following your posts here on EB @oracid

One thing that is worth watching all your videos, regardless of topic, is education. Every time, I learn a lot.

The other thing is: Your friendliness - without saying a word. It is just so enjoyable, and every time they make my day. I always take it as motivation.

And finally: This robot is mind-blowing. Simple as that.

Congratulations on your achievement!!!

With best regards,
Thorsten

Big thank @Toastie

Hi @Davidz90 , this is called parallel mechanism or 5 bars mechanism. If you go to my YouTube channel, you will find videos that explain all this. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Thank you.

Thanks! Subscribed. I've studied various walking machine linkages some time ago, but this one is definitely new to me. Very clever. Looked at the code, it is much simpler than I thought it would be.

Thank you.

Yes, I guess one day I will make a 12 DOF at this scale.
Grey GeekServo are very good but they don't have enough torque for a 2kg weight quadruped.
But may be one day I will try with something like this, https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005005921900128.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.91.3dceXw9CXw9CCp&algo_pvid=2ba79ee1-e9b7-4e51-af5b-b249db3500d8&algo_exp_id=2ba79ee1-e9b7-4e51-af5b-b249db3500d8-45&pdp_npi=4%40dis!EUR!22.65!18.12!!!23.33!!%40211b619a16966579216562001ed684!12000034861499352!sea!FR!871422066!&curPageLogUid=TWV4F7vdT2fC

now make it sit, jump, fetch ball and bark.

Thank you.
For sitting and barking, it could be simple.
For fetching a ball, it is possible with a Raspberry Pi, but not with an Arduino Nano. Although an HuskyLens cam could do the trick.
For to make jumping a 2kg quadruped, Lego beams are not enough strong.

just curious, what reciever and controller did you use to radio control it?

One of the most popular and in my opinion the better for beginner is the Flysky FS i6XTransmitter and the FS iA10B receiver.
