Hello everybody! Being more of a Cretor Expert car guy I very rarely post here in the town forum. But my Octan Highway Truck fits perfectly to the Speed Champions cars. It is 10 studs wide and features opening doors and hood. There is a V8 engine underneath the hood but the highlight feature is a working steering system which is operated via the spare wheel and which works flawlessly. Altough it definitely has some Model Team vibes there is still some reference to city sets by using the Octan colour scheme. There is also space to fit two minifigs inside the driver's cabin.

If you like my model you can help to make it an official LEGO Bricklink model. Please feel free to vote and comment here: https://www.bricklink.com/r3/designer-program/series-3/1155/Octan-Highway-Truck. In case my model does not make it into the five chosen designs I will publish free instructions.

Thanks for watching and your support!

Great model. The size fits with both the minifigs and the Speed Champion scene. I like the included engine.

Thank you very much! My original plan was to add a trailer to display some Speed Champions cars. Just like 42098 in the Technic world. I just could not finish it in time. Maybe next round...

Very nice, but, what happened with the sleeper part?

Thanks! I had to sacrifice the interior of the sleeper for the steering system. The sleeper was very tight anyway. So imho this was a good decision.
