El Garfio Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 What about the the new Lego sets concept? Lego was based on the outdoors and facades and usually saved effords in indoors But in the last years, they are improving the indoors of the buildings But recently they are focused into creating good indoors, but only indoors, bypassing the outdoors The set 60365: Apartment Building has based on shipping containers modules and the outdoors have become quite basic (replacing some walls by "scaffolding" parts) But this year they go to the extreme with some friends sets (the rooms) and the Gabby's Dollhouse thar they have outdoors because walls have 2 sides, but if you watch the construction by the outside what you see is horrible What do you thing about this? Do you think that this could become a trend? Some examples of not outdoors sets Quote
CptPJs Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 the Belville sets of the 1990s and the Homemaker sets of the 1970s were also very much in this style. I think the themes that are more aimed at girls maybe just tend towards this style, I don't know that it's a trend as a whole Quote
