7787 Prototype

Hello everybody, I am new to this forum as I wasn't interested in Lego for quite a while, but after discovering my 7783 batcave in the attic I got more interested, at least in the original batman run.

 

I discovered this image some time ago and had it saved on my PC for a while and just yesterday out of boredom I decided to try and recreate it in Studio

.

As of now I am trying to figure out what was the white structure supposed to be, I wonder if anyone here may be ale to help me with that.

Interesting. I’ve never seen this prototype before. That certainly would have made more sense than the gate that leads to nothing that we got. 

If I had to guess, I’d say it’s a money printing press where you load the bills at the top and they come out at the front. I guess they thought depicting counterfeiting money was too problematic and left out that whole section of the set? Also, it looks more light gray than white to me. 

Do you happen to have more interesting prototype images like this?

I also think its a money press, I think the front part is the "printer" and the back part with that monitor piece is a "conveyor belt", but I don't quite understand the geometry.

Unfortunately it is not my image and also the only image of such prototype I have. I found it in some old thread and the original poster claimed it was from Spring-Summer 2007 catalogue, but my search on google lead to no results.

Hi Hi, Someone posted your chat on Reddit a couple weeks ago and I tried my best to piece the prototype together with the one pic, You mentioned you where also doing this but its been a handful of months and wasn't sure if you where still working on it. I apologize if I stepped on your toes by doing this and ill remove my post if you want but it was a really fun build! If you do like it i've been making alot of the unofficial models from the 1st batman and Indiana Jones games if your interested :D
