Somehow, ROS would just feel a lot more epic and gloomy if there was less dialogue. It's pretty much all characters giving funny comebacks and seeming indifferent to the situation. Quotes like '“What do you have in mind, and does it include explosions?” asked Tahu, hoping it did.' and 'Somehow, some way, he was going to make it back to Metru Nui – and Makuta was going to pay for what he had done, even if it cost Axonn his life.' are incredibly boring and cliche. =/

Good to see the Nuva still, though. ROTGB next. =D

Bit off-topic, but I just got Vorox. And I quite like him. I knew I would, but I like him even better than expected. I can see what people mean by a surprisingly small helmet, but it doesn't look too small or anything. The Thornax launcher is also pleasing, a bit bigger than I expected, but by far not as ugly or distracting as the blasters from the past. Just a question: I modified my Vorox slightly so that the life-counter-holder on his ankle fits on his chest and I removed the life-counter. Anybody else who does that? I don't mind them on the back, but on the ankle, like with Skrall and Vorox, I find them very distracting. Besides, Vorox's chest looks less flat and better armoured this way.

So far, my 2009 collection is not going bad... 6/6 Agori, 1/6 Glatorian... I just hope they're all as good as Vorox turned out to be. Who should I get next? I can't really decide, I quite like all of them... Hmm... Skrall, Gresh or Malum, which of the three...

The explosions part wasn't that great, but the make-Makuta-pay-even-if-I-die was cliché, but appropriate for the situation.

I liked the new chapter, but I thought Artakha was abandoned a bit too... quickly? It seems like he would be able to teleport himself elsewhere...

Gresh. Definitely Gresh.

Is anyone having a sorta problem with the hands, where the red plus rod to hold the thornax launcher is really tight, and hard to get out? My Strakk has it to lesser degree, while my Gresh is nearly unbearable. I haven't been able to take the plus rod out since I built him!

You know those thin rubber mats people use in their cabinets to keep dishes from sliding and such? Pieces of that make taking stuck parts out easy. Like, really really easy. Some parts I thought would never separate popped loose with one of those little rubber things. Keeps your pieces free of teeth marks, too. =P

Just thought I'd share.

Boy, do I know about teeth marks. I used to do that all the time when I was younger, not knowing it would make marks. Then one day when I'm building, I'm like "This is worse then my pencil!!"

I haz a Raanu. And Atakus. And they are pretty sweet. A lot better than the Av-Matoran. Dun see why everyone hates 'em. I consider 'em about as good (figure wise) about as good as the Mata, if not a little better. Although the 14 pieces gets to me. :\

Also, made a battle scene using almost all of my MU figures. It's pretty sweeeet. But I should probably clean it up, takes up the entire floor. :D

All the Agori are great compared to other years, and they're a great step up from the already great Av-Matoran.

Please take a picture of battle before you clean up yes?

Y'know, I think I'm finding that I like the odd look of vastus. Something funky but cool. His parts would be GREAT for making some alienoid monster. I'm sure Vastus has plenty of part potential-including new Armor!. Mats and Stronius are still first, tho.

Man... that is an awesome pic, Antrozek. I really, REALLY like Vastus already (he's my fav. GL now), that made him look even better. I'm still going to do a revamp, sure, to fix the... less than sterling body, but he's pretty good as-is.

But, a question for you all - I was possibly thinking of doing a 'revamp' of sorts to RoS - writing it myself, basically. First, do you think it would be worth it? I'd -sorta- stick to what Greg has done so far... but do it the way it should be done - as many of you have said, less dialouge, better action scenes, a darker, gloomier feel, etc. I could take suggustions, too if you want. =)

It's nothing serious right now; just a prodject that I had an idea for. I orginially wanted to start an epic that would pretty much go back and re-write the past few years of the storyline ans any other less-popular scenes better, but... it would be a huge thing to do, and it never really got off the ground. This may be my answer to that.

And, btw, how many of you are getting Vastus for sure, anyways?

I'm getting Vastus for sure! As far as rewriting goes, I've never been a huge fan, so if you ARE going to do a Bionicle story, do one original that perhaps incorporates said events. Redoing someone elses thing is a little... odd. I'd love to see another story happening DURING RoS, if you would write one. :)

I´m getting Vastus and revamp him to fix the legs and torso. :)

I'm getting Vastus, and not just because I get all the sets. I think he is visually amazing, and the only strange thing about him is his torso design, which can't be worse than Gresh's torso hole, which as been mostly ignored.

Yeah... Completely forgot!

As far as vastus goes, I'd definitely give him rahkshii legs instead. I really dig that trans tube with the green inside. And that scythe will be VERY welcome in my collection. First time we've had any REAL green weapons since Matau hordika! His mask is rockin' on so many weird levels! And that shoulder armour!

Lesse:

Ackar:

recolours:

all armor and body and mask

new parts:

sword hilt, fire,ankle armor

Stronuis:

recolours:

spikey armor

new parts:

badass mask, shoulder and torso armor, badass club.

Gelu:

recolours:

torso armor

new parts:

mask, weapon, Metus shield(kinda)

Kiina:

recolours:

feet, torso

new parts:

mask, arm joints, armour, weapon

Mata Nui:

recolours:

all armor, feet, mask(technically)

new parts:

shin guards, shoulder spikes, shield, mask(also technically), arm joints

Vastus:

recolours:

feet, mahri tube

new parts:

mask, shoulder armor, weapon, arm joints

All in all, mata nui, Ackar and Vastus seem the best for your money, but Stronius and Gelu have awesome looks and great parts as well. Kiina has some VERY new parts, and some decent recolours since we rarely get good selection of blue. I really want to see Kiina's mask in high def.

Do we have price's for the summer vechiles yet?

Not sure, but I think the US Prices are out there. They're bound to be around the same as last year's equivalent set prices.

It's a pretty good price given that one could prolly build an Axalara out of it easy and still have cool parts to spare. I'm really stoked about Cendox's price, tho. Better than the Vultraz set.

I AM a little miffed that Baranus is so much-it's really not worth it.

Kaxium is okay.

Kaxium looks pretty neat for its price, technically two vehicles and two Agori, and you can play with them separately or together. I think this is good for people on a budget [like me]

But I'm not going to get it because it just doesn't wow me. :P

Absolutely Loving Cendox though.

And I thought Skopio was $99.99... o.o

Good to see that it isn't. =/
