Meanwhile, in Nola Mar

On the streets of Nola Mar, a patrol of Knights Treasurer bumps into some Musketeers. Odd, because there shouldn't be any crown troops in the city, especially in uniform and wearing weapons.

"Musketeers - if that be what you be - lower your arms and prepare to explain yourselves!" calls the patrol leader.

"And what if it don't be what we be?" asks one of the strangers.

"Then I'd lower those weapons even quicker, and make the explanation very good!"

Meanwhile, in Nola Mar

I've wanted to do a series of tiny builds for quite a while. Just to flesh out a bit more about the Knights Treasurer, what they're up to in Nola Mar, and how they operate.

This may also feed into a new AMRCA, so there's that, too.

An excellent fight scene. The stance and movement of the Knights Treasurer and the Musketeer look good.

Lovely figures and posing. I like how small builds can be challenging to fit everything in there what you want to tell. Also: I always love MOCs expanding background - be they large or small.

Near the Harbour of Nola Mar, a patrol of Treasurer Guards hears a commotion, and comes across two struggling men.

Meanwhile, in Nola Mar

"What's all this then?" they demand.

"Private matter, good sirs. Nothing to concern yourselves with!" answers the fellow in the maroon coat.

"He's accosting me!" replies the gondolier.

"Nonsense!" replies the hairy fellow. "This young man has just volunteered to join the Queen's navy!"

"We've heard enough." answer the Guardsmen. "Corrington's navy doesn't operate out of Nola Mar. Every citizen here is a free man. Unhand him, and head back to your ship double-quick."

Just a little response to @DeathCap's threat to impress Nola Mar's ferrymen

Let that be a warning to the rest of you!

On the shores of Nola Mar, a suspicious gang of Eslandolan has been spotted by Knights Treasurer Heavy Cavaliers.

"You there, halt what you're doing!" calls the Knight Commander.

The Eslandolans take one look at each other, and scatter.

With a sigh, the Knight Commander orders his men to run down the smugglers.

Within minutes, all of the greenbacks were either dead, dying, or huddled together, looking very sorry for themselves.

"Let this be a lesson to you!" said the Knight, imperiously. "Everyone pays taxes in Oleon!"

I've been looking for a way to do a good lobster-tailed pot helmet, and this samurai helmet is the best option I've found. Unlike the new one it does have the peak. However, it also has the weird clip at the front, which is not particularly suitable for this era. Instead I've added a plume to the front. Hopefully it doesn't look too silly.

The bridge is nice! And good posing of the horse in the last post. The first one still screams "King's musketeers vs the Cardinal's guard" to me, though. :pir-grin:

Fun set of vigs all around! :pir-thumb:

Oh yeah, thats absolutely deliberate. Guess what promotion the Archbishop is going for next? I just couldn't wait for that to happen before I established the unit, so I gave them red uniforms for a different reason.

In the gloom of the catacombs, two Underguards patrol their usual route, checking for smugglers, grave robbers, and cat burglars. These tunnels connect to most places in the city, and a cunning rascal could use them to ill intent.

"Who goes there?" they call, interrupting someone roaming in the gloaming.

Meanwhile, in Nola Mar

"Errr, 'Thompson'," he replies. "Just paying my respects to my, errr, grandad here."

"A likely story," answer the Guards. Perhaps you'll be more honest when we get you back to headquarters.

A little bit of a response to @Professor Thaum's catacombs build. Plus I figured an order dedicated to Hades ought to have some people who specialise in fighting underground.

Thus ends the series.

Lovely series all around. The small stories fit the tiny builds, but both still have plenty of character. Great figure builds as well. Love that rider. That helmet works very well for a lobster tail type helmet indeed. I've used it as such in the past as well. I just try to ignore the clip on the front.

I also like the fact you've used yellow backgrounds here instead of the usual black. I dunno, it makes everything pop more.
