Not a single remark about "no unaccompanied adult" on the front page. None on the page about "What's inside/Overview".

There is also not a single remark about the exact location or the opening hours. I think most people realise that websites have multiple pages and not everything is on the front page of a website.

Opening times are right on the top of the front page.

To know the location one can look at the Directions page, where no single line informs you about necessity to organize your own kid to get in.

My point is: this really could be done better, but it is certainly not hidden deep in the terms & conditions.

They are indeed (though I suspect this is the sort of thing which doesn't show up on the mobile site; can't tell for sure as I'm at a desktop).

However I did notice this:

This is on the front page of the website (well, not the front page as that's a list of the sites without any information at all; this is the front page when clicking on a location)

Just checked: you're right. Not on the mobile. You have to press MENU to see those.

I'm not even able to get to this page.

But like I said: it's not really hidden, but since it's critical to the entry it could have been done much better.

They aren't on a tablet screen.

Sure, you can look for directions on the directions page, just like you can look at the tickets page for information on tickets and prices - and see the restriction about no unaccompanied adults there. Websites that include all the information on a single page are harder to use, it is much better to section it via easy to access menus. Is it really that odd that if someone is going to go to an attraction, then the attraction would expect them to go to the tickets page to find out about prices and any restrictions on them, instead of jumping in a car and driving there without finding out that information first. Just like they might want to find out about what is there online before travelling and finding out that most of the attraction is set up for 3-10 year olds and not really for them (except for the adult only sessions when they have slightly more adult oriented events).

You two are spending a lot of time defending a website. 🤣

What you see on the website might depend on the location of the discovery center. In some US states, for instance, it might even be illegal age discrimination to not let in adults. The one closest to me doesn't say anything on their front page about needing to be accompanied by a child.

I'm not sure what's laughable? Are we supposed to agree uncritically with every criticism of Lego or their enterprises, even if those criticisms aren't fair? Are we not allowed to express the view that Lego's website is adequate in this regard?

"A lot of time" was actually about twenty seconds while I had my coffee this morning - I don't see that as excessive time for anything.

Sure, it is clear while buying tickets, but if you just browsing to check what's there, you're gonna miss it.

If I was going there I would check the ticketing and FAQ, so it will be clear.

Yeah, that is what I did, a basic search. I looked at the ticket prices and hours of operation and that was about it. Yes, if I would have done more searching I would have came across the parts that you need a child to enter (like in the FAQ area) but I had no reason to look there. And as I stated in a previous reply, I saw the date for the AFOL night and it is on a Friday and only for 3 hours. And yes, whoever does the webpage for the Discovert Centers should put on the main page of the site, even if it is at the bottom of the page, a disclaimer that a child under the age of 17 is needed for an adult to enter also (or something like that...).

"Hi Builders! Buy tickets online now to lock-in your price and guarantee your admission entry time. "

That would ring all the bells of "DON'T CLICK", there is "lock-in", "price", and "guarantee". Was it actually in reverse "colors"? (Yes, I know, black is not a color)

Whatever.

2 weeks from now and I will (for the n'th time, knowing it is more than stupid to pay that price) visit LEGO's Billund place - no shittin around there, just enjoying the old stuff - again and again.

Best,
Thorsten

Yes, it is in reverse colours. It highlights it above other things that aren't in reverse.

What exactly is a Lego Discovery Center? Guessing it's not the same thing as Lego Land which is a themepark.

Indoor play centres aimed at 3-10 year olds.
