Hi all,

Long time reader of the forum, first time posting.

I’ve been having a go at building a small F1 car from the early 2000s V10 era, roughly matching the scale of the McLaren Senna, Bolide etc. It’s undergone several redesigns primarily to reduce the profile of the chassis to 4 studs high.

The problem I’ve got is I’m stuck designing an effective nose that has the right profile. I’ve experimented with flex hose, 1x2 triangles using liftarms, various panel combinations, but none look quite right or provide enough stiffness around the steering box.

I’ve attached a picture here for reference but I would welcome any advice, suggestions, or frank criticism if I’m on the wrong track entirely!

Many thanks,
