At this stage yes, but we may offer a small extension depending upon requests from participants.

I have the models done I'm doing my process now, but currently, in my life, I'm making a move to another country, and at the end of this month I'll finally be moving. It will be very busy and hard. If I don't manage the deadline it's alright, I don't mind :excited: I do this for fun as always and I want to make something special for pirates fans and a detailed release, I can already assure you that what I'm developing here is something I couldn't do in my recent Adventurers concept :pir-triumph:

Having a limit of 50 pieces was a cool design challenge, especially nowadays when there are so many elements compared to back in the 80s and 90s.

Hello, my name is Tom and I live in the Hudson Valley in New York. I am new to building MOCs, and I am new to this forum, but I am a long time LEGO enthusiast, and this contest has reignited my love of the classic pirate sets I played with long ago (most of which I still own!). Grateful for online communities like this--I look forward to sharing my entry!

Question for ya,

My son has seen me working hard on my contest entry and wants to make his own. He’s only 7 so he doesn’t have any online accounts, nor do I want him to make one. Can I enter his build for him under my account?

Yes, this is fine in the case of children.

So how will voting work? I remember reading somewhere we would be able to pick 3 entries for the build category but I'm not sure now.

Thanks captain, so we just make a post in that thread with our votes on August 27th?

All questions relating to the Voting Rules should be asked in the the Voting Rules topic.

But you'll find that the answer to that particular question has already been answered in that topic.

Bonjour,

Merci d'avance

I hope this hasn't been asked yet, but are we able to update our entry after the deadline? I submitted a bit close to the wire, and if anything I'd like to fix up some spots of my entry! If not I totally understand, thank you again!

After the votes start rolling in the entries need to be locked down, no changes.  Others it may create an unfair disadvantage if entrants keep revising their entries.

But it depends what you want to fix up.  If it's something quick and simple, we might be able to squeeze that in.

ahh yeah, that makes sense! In that case, would I be able to squeeze in an important render? One big important thing i'd like to add is an "expanded roof" part of my build which I forgot to add to my original post* is crucial to show playability, and reasoning behind why I built it so closed in. It was originally designed this way, nothing was added at all. I would be grateful If I may do that, thank you!

It would be very helpful if you stated long this render will take.

You've got 4.5 hours from the timestamp of this repsonse.
